MADE IN CANADA by Renee — and I am CANADIAN 

Welcome!  I’m Renee Koch (pronounced Cook), proprietor and crafter of The Quilted Hound products. My passion goes in to every stitch. Unwavering attention to detail and craftsmanship are a sure sign of a Quilted Hound creation.  Collars & Leg Protectors that function, melded with style for living real lives helping maintain & grow glorious coat.  Thank you for choosing The Quilted Hound!  Custom orders always welcome.

How it began?  I am a quilter and have sewn these collars for my Gardenpath Poodles  & friends dogs for decades.  My lifelong passion for dogs and experience as a sewer and quilter make The Quilted Hound the perfect platform for me to create.  All products are designed and crafted by me in my home sewing studio in Kitchener, ON Canada, always smoke free and Poodle enchanted.  Collar models my Lyra, Ella & Troy.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

I take great pride in my work and do my very best for every piece. Products are my designs, each items is custom-made by me. Due to custom size considerations, ribbon options and the current quick turn over of product (thank you so much!) items are created just for you.  Each piece requires time and attention to produce, then shipping time to reach you. I can make no promises or guarantees on arrival time of your order.  Please ask for assistance if you are unsure about Sizing and note Personalized Embroidered pieces are not returnable.  Satin cuff collars do not open and therefore are sized differently then regular collars that do open.

** All prices are in Canadian dollars, PayPal will convert your total to your country’s currency at the current exchange rate if purchasing from outside of Canada.

*** Items are custom cut and sewn, they are not necessarily in stock.  I do have inventory of   select READY to SHIP / IN STOCK items. Please contact me if you are in a RUSH.

Payment:  SECURE SHOPPING with PayPal Credit card payments can be made through PayPal for customers who do not have a PayPal account. Canadians may pay with Money Order or cheque in advance of shipping – please email rycole@hotmail.com for details before you purchase and type ‘QH Payment info’ in the subject line.  I also accept cash at delivery or pickup when pre-arranged. INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES from USA or OVERSEAS understand and accept that any duty, taxes or VAT charges if applied by your Country’s customs are at the Purchaser’s expense.

SHIPPING

All Orders are shipped via Canada Post. Quilted Hound Shipping + Handling is based on rates provided by Canada Post for Expedited Canadian shipping and Light Packet Parcel Air Service for International orders. If you order multiple items Internationally, a partial refund where available for Shipping & Handling Fees will be processed via PayPal for items ordered and shipped together. All Canadian Orders are a set Flat Fee. Delivery service is estimated by Canada Post according to the date your item(s) ship. PLEASE NOTE All Collars and Leg Protectors are custom cut and sewn for you by me (Renee) in the order they are received. Attention to detail and craftsmanship are a sure sign of a Quilted Hound creation. Estimated production time varies depending on volume of current orders received, plus shipping time. AT THIS TIME DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC CANADA POST STATES THAT THEY ARE EXPERIENCING DELAYS AS THEY PUT SAFETY FIRST.

Canada delivery: Expedited Parcel Service -

USA delivery: Small Pkt Air US delivery, no tracking

Overseas shipping: Small Pkt Air Int'l, no tracking

Tracking is available at an additional charge outside or Canada as set by Canada Post.

International purchasers from USA or OVERSEAS understand and accept that any duty, taxes or VAT charges if applied by your Country’s customs are at the Purchaser’s expense. PLEASE READ FULL TERMS + CONDITIONS linked in tool bar at top of site.

RETURNS

Return or exchange of merchandise is accepted within 7 days of receiving your order. Custom Embroidered items and Scrunchies are not returnable.  Please ask if you are unsure about Sizing before placing your order.  The SIZING page is linked in the task bar. Product must be in the same new, clean, resalable condition you received it in with tags attached. Send returns in the original packaging or replaced equivalent packaging available from your Postal Service. Contact The Quilted Hound for return authorization before returning merchandise. Shipping costs are not refundable, return and exchange shipping costs at buyer’s expense.  Please understand that during Covid-19  Canada Post shipping times may be slower than usual.

PRIVACY POLICY

We take your privacy very seriously and take all measures to protect your personal information. We only collect information we need related to your order. This includes your Billing Address, Shipping Address & Email Address. Paypal protects your financial information. Your information is only used to fill your order. We do not sell or redistribute your information to anyone.
